I have been involved in music education for well over 25 years, both as a private tutor and as a faculty member of several music colleges and conservatoires in the UK (you can find out more about my educational background on the biography page) I have taught literally hundreds of music students on both a 1-1 basis and as part of lecture classes or prformance study groups.
I am now bringing this educational experience and my personal teaching syllabus to the custom guitar lessons I offer here under the title of Complete Guitar Lessons.
You can study Jazz Guitar or Rock and Blues guitar with me, or if you prefer a more generic guitar course to help you improve your playing and realise your musical potential regardless of style and genre. All lessons are carefully prepared with lesson notes and backing tracks so that you can quickly see what to work on and how to go about it.
If you would like more information about my guitar teaching program please check out the more detailed webpage for Complete Guitar Lessons. If you have any questions about what I can offer you as a teacher then plaese do feel free to send me an e-mail via the contact page
Whilst you are on the site be sure to check out the website blog page as well for lots of free guitar lessons. There’s a good many jazz guitar and improvisation lessons in there currently and accompanying material including backing tracks and PDF files of the lesson content. I will be heavily expanding this section of the site in the coming weeks with more Rock and Blues guitar lessons too, so please check back soon for more content.
“…Pete has what seems to be several lifetimes of musical knowledge, and is very generous with passing it along. A gift for teaching doesn’t always go hand-in-hand with being a great musician, but in Pete’s case, it does…”’
